Grade 5 Student/Faculty Volleyball Game
The Terrific Teachers will take on the Grade 5 Dare Devils in the annual volleyball game on Thursday, May 3rd. The game will start at 9am. Due to limited space, only 5th grade parents and relatives are invited to attend. Please plan on arriving at 8:45 to get a good seat. The game will last approximately one hour. Hope to see you there!
Spring Concert
The Music Department invites you all to our 4th and 5th grade Spring Concert on Thursday, May 10th at 7:00 pm. All students should report to the GYM at 6:40pm. Band students will check in with chorus first, and then report to the Music Room at 6:45. (Students with speaking or instrument-playing parts should report to the gym at 6:30.) Concert attire is black bottoms (pants or skirt - no shorts) and a blue or green shirt. No logos please! We look forward to seeing you there!

Memorial Spring Art Show and Pancake Breakfast: Time to Get Your Orders In!
We hope you will join us for the annual Memorial Spring Art Show and Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 19th from 8:00-10:00 a.m.! Mrs. York is busy decking the main hall with our children’s amazing artwork. Come and take it all in then enjoy breakfast in the cafe with Memorial friends, new and old. The whole family is welcome!
This week look for a breakfast order form in your child’s backpack. Place your order for pancakes, donuts or both. You may also order your breakfasts online on the Memorial School website http://www.memorialschoolpto.org. Orders are due in by May 7th. Interested in volunteering your time? On the form and online you will also find information on how you can help out on the morning of the breakfast. School Supplies for Next Year - Orders due May 11th. (No Exceptions due to company-mandated deadlines.)
The PTO is offering the opportunity to purchase school supplies for the next school year. School Supply Order forms are being sent home in backpacks this week. If you are interested in taking advantage of this offer, forms must be completed and returned to school by Friday, May 11th. Supplies will be available for pick-up on August 29th and 30th. (Daytime and evening hours will be available. )

BEF’s Exercise for Education and Family Fun Run – Sunday, May 6th
I’ve seen you out there… taking advantage of the mild winter days , strapping on those sneakers and iPods in preparation for the upcoming 8th annual Exercise for Education! Continue your healthy ways and contribute to education at the same time! This race day is filled with hundreds of runners, walkers and spectators. The certified 5K (through the streets of Burlington) is preceded by a ½ mile Family Fun Run around Burlington High School. T-shirts for all registered participants! $20 pre-registration fee for the 5K ($25 on race day). $5 for the Fun Run. MOTHER TO MOTHER
Each Spring and Summer Mother to Mother hosts socials for all children who will be entering kindergarten at Memorial School in the Fall. The play dates will take place at the Memorial School Playground. It is a great opportunity for Pre-Kindergarten children to meet their future classmates.
This year’s socials will be held on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 12th at 3:30 pm
Friday, August 24th at 10 am
