Just a reminder from the nurse as we approach cold and flu season, please help us track illness trends at school by letting us know why your child is absent when you call.

Collecting Winter Coats Oct 16- Jan 7th
You will find a bin in the front lobby at school. Coats accepted for children and adults.  

Please visit our website to register your family, pay your dues online, and sign up for volunteer opportunities.  Information about the many ways that you can help the PTO are on the website.  We look forward to the events that are coming up during this school year.  
First meeting is: November 2nd 7pm in the Library

KidStuff Coupon Books
The valuable, family-friendly, KidStuff Coupon Books are available through our school again this year! The KidStuff Coupon Books will be sent home to Memorial Families on Friday, October 6th The cost of each book is $25.00 and our school will receive 50% of the proceeds.  Please return your payment no later than Friday, October 20th. (make checks payable to the Memorial School PTO).  If you are not interested in the book, please return it to school.  If you wish to order additional books, please complete the enclosed order form and include your payment. Books for other states are also available. Please check the order sheet for more information. These books will be sent home after October 20th.  If you have any questions, please contact the PTO at



If you would like to participate,please have your child bring into school any dog or cat food that you would like to donate.  You will find the collection barrel in the Lobby 10/16-10/27


Help support the People Helping People Food Pantry by purchasing a pumpkin at the 5th Annual People Helping People Pumpkin Patch from October 1 through October 31.  The Pumpkin Patch is located at St. Mark’s Church, 10 St Mark ROad in Burlington.  The patch is open Monday through Friday from noon until 6pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11-6pm.  100%  of the profits benefits People Helping People and the Food Pantry.

Join us for an open mat session to see what BYW is all about on Saturday
November 4, 2017 from 9:30am-11:00am in the BHS wrestling room. Kids should wear clean socks or wrestling shoes, shorts and a T-shirt.

Season begins on November 27,2017 and runs through February 28,2018.
