March Book Madness in Mrs. Harlow's Class

in Mrs. Harlow's fourth grade classroom!

All of our awesome fourth grade students have worked hard all month long to 
read- create- produce- persuade

Burlington Parks & Recreation Dept is sponsoring a Youth & Human Services Day. The event is taking place throughout the day on April 8th.  The event will allow community members to visit and interact with different organizations in the town to see what programs, services, groups, and parks the town has to offer.   The hub of organizations will be setting up booths and activities at Simonds Park; we have an array of who will be in attendance, from an obstacle course being set up by the Army to an informative booth being set up by the food pantry.  We also have some organizations setting up at their own locations.

Bus Monitors needed to ride bus to and from school for in-district routes.   
Mornings
(approx 7:30-9:00 am)

or​ afternoons
(approx 2:00-3:30 pm depending on route)

Responsibilities include:
  • monitor students behavior on bus as directed
  • morning and afternoon routes
Compensation:
​  $11.00 per hour
Permanent and substitute positions available.

Parents night out Rescheduled due to weather
Burlington High School Support the Senior Class ****March 29, 2017**** Parent’s Night Out Parent’s Night Out! ​(RESCHEDULED due to weather) Need a night out, just for yourself? No kids, no distractions, no worries? Then let us take the kids for the night from 5:30-9:00, on March 29. Open for all ages . Drop off anytime between 5:30 and 6:00 and pick up between 8:30 and 9:00. We can entertain them with a movie, food and crafts! The Senior class student council and our advisors will be running this event and all the proceeds will help support us. Your kid gets a night to play with high schoolers and you get the night for yourself. One child will be $20 and there will be a $10 discount for each additional sibling. (Example, 2 kids- $30, 3 kids- $40). All forms must be passed in by Tuesday, March 28. Money can be sent in with the form or payed at the door. We accept cash or checks and checks can be made out to Burlington High School. If you have any questions feel free to contact Madison Hoyt at madish
