From the office:
Attendance:  At this time of year, colds, and sniffles are inevitable, but regular attendance at school is important to your child’s continuing progress.  Excessive absenteeism and tardiness can negatively impact his or her ability to learn and to excel in school.  Please remember that if your child is going to be absent for any reason, please notify us via the School Absentee Line at 781-273-7649 by 8:15am on the day of absence.

Change of Dismissal Procedures:  On any day that a child’s transportation plans are altered, a note must be written to the classroom teacher to describe the change.  We understand that occasionally, a situation arises during the day that necessitates a change.  If this is necessary, please make every effort to contact the office before your child’s scheduled lunchtime to ensure that your child’s teacher receives the information.  Buses are held until all children are accounted for, so please help us to ensure student safety by keeping us fully informed well before dismissal time.

From the Nurse:  With the cooler weather upon us, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the outdoor play at recess.  The children will be going out each day, weather permitting.

The nurse is requesting donations of used children’s clothes and new underwear and socks for both girls and boys.
