STAR BUCK REWARDS:
Students will earn the reward of decorating their locker once the grade level has enough starbucks to complete a stripe on the flag in the cafe!
In the coming weeks your child may be asked to bring in optional materials from home to decorate their locker with.
Items they may bring in to decorate lockers:
- Pictures from home of self, family, pets, etc.
- sports team logo
- personal artwork
We encourage you to have fun and be creative!
Lockdown Lockout Evacuate Shelter
PTO MEETING NOVEMBER 3rd: There will be a Safety Protocol meeting on Thursday, November 3rd @7pm for Memorial and Francis Wyman families. Steve Cross will join us in a discussion about changes in our school safety protocol.
From the Nurse: Halloween safety - please remember that costumes should be comfortable, fireproof, and reflective. Eyeholes should allow unimpeded vision. All candy should be inspected for safety (no sharp points or dangerous parts). Flashlights should have new batteries. Younger children should trick or treat with an adult and only go to known neighborhoods. Parents should know where older children are going and set a return time. HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!

Burlington Board of Health Flu Clinic- Saturday10/22/16
The Burlington Board of Health Flu Clinic will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 12pm to 3pm at the Memorial School, 125 Winn Street, Burlington. No appointment is necessary. All flu vaccines are free, but if you have health insurance please bring your information. All children and adults are eligible for free vaccine regardless of insurance status. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Please note: per CDC guidelines, no FluMist will be administered this year. If possible, please wear a loose-fitting short sleeve shirt. For the most current information, please call the BOH Flu Clinic Line at 781 238-5353.

BURLINGTON’S 4TH ANNUAL
Help support the Burlington Food Pantry by purchasing a pumpkin at the 4th annual People Helping People Pumpkin Patch from October 2 through October 31. The Pumpkin Patch is located at St. Mark’s Church, 10 St. Mark’s Road in Burlington. The patch is open Monday through Friday from 12 to 6PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11-6PM. 100% of the profits benefits People Helping People and the Burlington Food Pantry.

The whole month of November the Burlington Food Pantry will be having a Toothbrush & Toothpaste Drive. Please look for collection box outside the school office. Thank you for your support!
Hungry Bowl Pet Food Drive to Benefit Local Animal Shelters
All pet food collected will be donated at the end of the month to Northeast Animal Shelter and MSPCA Nevins Farm. This community outreach program is sponsored by PSI (Pet Sitters International) and is an international effort to collect pet food for local shelters throughout the month of October.
If you would like to participate, please have your child bring any dog or cat food to the Memorial School from Monday, October 17th through Friday, October 28th. Collection barrel is located outside the main office.
