Google Expedition at Memorial

How do you make learning fun?

Take a virtual trip to the place you are learning about!

What do you need?

A cardboard viewer and a smart phone!

Thanks to Rachel Small, our library and media specialist, for bringing the Google Expeditions
to Memorial School. Our students are so lucky to be one of the stops on a
world tour of this new technology.

Some of the trips, students in grades 2-5, got to go on today were
Biomes, Recycling, Historic Philadelphia,
Canada and India.

Expeditions are collections of virtual reality panoramas—360° photo spheres, 3D images and video, and ambient sounds—annotated with details, points of interest, and questions that make them easy to integrate into curriculum already used in schools.
