From the office:
Scoliosis screening for Grade 5:  The schedule for screening will be Mr  Rabazzi and Miss Conceison’s class on November 16th, and Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Olshaw’s class on November 17th.  Please remember girls need to wear a bathing suit top or clothing that allows a view of the back bones (vertebrae). Parents can opt their child out with a doctor's note addressed to the nurse.
From the Nurse:  Halloween Safety- Please remember that costumes should be comfortable, fireproof, and reflective.  Eyeholes should allow unimpeded vision.  All candy should be inspected before consumption.  Wrapped “goodies” are safest.  Any props for costumes should be inspected for safety (no sharp points or dangerous parts).  Flashlights should have new batteries.  Younger children should trick or treat with an adult and only go to known neighborhoods.  Parents should know where older children are going and set a return tim.  HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!
Halloween Dance Party & I-SCREAM Social:  Come join us for our Halloween Spooktacular on October 30th, from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Memorial School.  Please send all payments in by Friday, October 23rd.

Burlington Youth Lacrosse: Boys & Girls Lacrosse Grades K-8 registrations are going on now.  It is necessary to register spring teams early as our league requires us to submit rosters well in advance of the start of the season so they may have enough time to set up all the schedules.  We need to know how many children are playing so we can register the correct number of teams to the league.  We encourage everyone to register early so you will not be put on the waiting list.  Registration is online at www.bulringtonlax.com  or emaile Burlington.lacrosse@gmail.com.

Burlington Youth Wrestling:  Join us for an open mat session to see what BYW is all about on Saturday, November 7th, from 9:30 am to 12pm in the BHS wrestling room.  Kids should wear clean socks or wrestling shoes, shorts and a t-shirt.  Our season begins on November 30th and runs through February 26th.  Registration & payments are required in advance via our website at:  http://www.burlingtonyouthwresting.com/  For more information, email: BurlingtonYouthWrestling@gmail.com
