From the Office:
From the PTO:  The PTO decided that due to the forecasted rain the Family picnic has been postponed until Tuesday, June 9th. There are several reasons for this decision. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Details will be sent as soon as they are available. Thank you.

The first annual Memorial Run for a Reason was a success!  If your child(ren) ran or walked on Saturday and you need to turn in donations, please do so by Friday, June 5th. We are excited to announce how much each charity will receive and also to hand out a prize for the top fundraiser!

Memorial School Field Day: Gr. K-5
It’s hard to know what the weather will be, but based on ‘tradition,’ the day is sure to be filled with fun and high spirits! For safety reasons: 1) all students must wear sneakers to participate; 2) please apply sunscreen at home to prevent sunburns. For comfort: there will be events that include water, so all children should wear a bathing suit to school under their clothes and bring a towel and a dry change of clothing.

As always, we look forward to having families come by and watch our Field Day events. We do have a new format this year.  For best viewing AND security purposes, NO parents or family members will be allowed on the field. “Stations” will be set up near the fence, so watching your child from the other side of the fence will make for the best viewing as well as capturing those ‘Kodak moments.’

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, June 11th - rain date: Friday, June 12th. Activities will be set up in our school’s side lot too.  Additional parking is available in the large lot next to St. Margaret’s Church.

Happenings Around Town:
The Fox Hill PTO:   invites you to a Family Festival of Music, Food and Fun.  Monday, June 15th, 2015 (rain date:June 16th) from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  Located at the Fox Hill Playground, at the corner of  Westwood Street and Fox Hill Road, in Burlington, MA.
Join family and friends for a picnic dinner and lots of fun!  The PTO is planning Music by DJ Smash - Mike Fazio, Dunk Tanks, an Obstacle Course run, Balloon Twisting and other fun Games, Face Painting and Tattoos, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Slush, and Fun Raffles!
The b.good truck will be onsite with delicious food. You will be able to purchase burgers and veggie burgers on the day of the event, or bring your own picnic. 10% of all b.good purchases go back to the Fox Hill PTO to help support Enrichment Programs for our school. Come join the fun and help support our kids!
