From the Office:
Memorial’s Run for a Reason: May 30, 2015, 8am to 10am.   Students will raise money for the PTO and another charity (chosen by each grade) all while promoting fitness and healthy living.  Students will have 1 hour to run or walk as many laps around the field as they can.  Donations will be collected per lap or they can be a flat donation.  To register, please visit the PTO website, http://www.memorialschoolpto.org/JogAThon.html or email us atmemorialrunforareason@gmail.com.  The PTO will have water and healthy snacks for the runners and they will receive a race day t-shirt.

From The Burlington Science Center:
Summer Animal
Adoption
The Science Center is looking for homes for some of its animals over Summer vacation.

turtles-rabbits-snakes-hamsters-salamanders

The Science Center will provide cage, STARTER food,    shavings, and care sheet for each animal.  CALL MS. WENDY PAVLICEK AT (781)-270-2928 or e-mail pavlicek@bpsk12.org asap if interested.  
Animals are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.  All animals must be picked up by June 10th making an appointment with Ms. Pavlicek.   Thank you.



Happenings Around Town:
From The Burlington Education Foundation: The Burlington Education Foundation (BEF) will be holding their 11th Annual “Exercise for Education” 5K Road Race and ½ Mile Family Fun Run at Burlington High School on Sunday May 31, 2015.  Check-in for the event begins at 8:00am with the Family Fun Run beginning at 9:00am, followed by the start of the 5k which begins promptly at 9:30am.
