From the Office:
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU… The Toast to Memorial was a HUGE success, due to the efforts and participation of so many members of the Memorial Community! The class baskets were absolutely beautiful, and truly cherished by the lucky winners who took them home! Thank you to the parents and teachers who chose the themes for the baskets and shopped for the items to fill them. The funds raised from this wonderful event will be used to enrich and enhance the learning experiences for all Memorial School students. A heart-felt thank you to one and all for your generosity – of energy, time, funding, and spirit!
Spring Pictures: Just a reminder Spring Pictures will be held on Tuesday, April 7th. Please remember to submit payment with your order form.
Save The Date: Please mark your calendars for the annual Memorial Spring Art Show and Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 16th from 8:00-10:00 a.m.! Mrs. York is busy decking the main hall with our children’s amazing artwork. Come and take it all in then enjoy breakfast in the cafe with Memorial friends, new and old. The whole family is welcome! More information about the event will follow after spring vacation.
Cheers to Miss McLaughlin: As many of you may already know, Memorial’s very own Miss McLaughlin will be running the 2015 Boston Marathon in April! She’s running for a charity called Challenge Unlimited. Challenge Unlimited in Andover provides therapeutic, educational and recreational opportunities using horses for children, teens, and adults with varying disabilities such as autism, cancer, stroke, Down syndrome, and more.
