Memorial PTO's Annual Toast to Memorial
Saturday, March 28th 7pm-10pm
Please join us in support of Memorial School at our most successful annual fundraiser. Sample wine, courtesy of The Liquor Cabinet, from a variety of different vendors as you socialize and survey all the great raffle prizes and fantastic auction items that have been so generously donated by members of the Memorial community.
Don’t miss the opportunity to win one of the amazing themed baskets assembled by every classroom at Memorial. These coveted baskets are overflowing with items donated by the teacher and the families of the students in each class.
All proceeds from this event will be used to enrich your child’s experience at Memorial. In the past, the funds have been used to supplement field trips, defray supply costs, and improve our school programs.
Cost: $30.00 per person in advance or $35 at the door ($15 per teacher). Tickets will not be sent home this year. Please check in at the registration desk at the Toast to Memorial.
*Guests must be 21 or over to attend this event*
Great News: Box-tops for Education has earned $1000.00 for Memorial PTO this year. Our goal for next year is $1500.00! Thank you to everyone who takes the time to tear out the box-tops (found on many grocery products) and send them into school. A bigger thanks goes out to Mr. Gaiero for organizing and submitting all the Box-Tops!!
New School Nurse: I apologize for the delay in announcing that we have a new school nurse taking care of us at Memorial School. We were sad to lose Ms. Cadigan after ten years of excellent service to the students, parents and staff of Memorial School She is pursuing a wonderful new opportunity working as a nurse practitioner in the area. We welcome Tracey Camaro who most recently was working as a Wellness Coordinator at the high school to the position. Please feel free to connect with her regarding your student’s medical needs at 781-270-1724.
Cheers to Miss McLaughlin: As many of you may already know, Memorial’s very own Miss McLaughlin will be running the 2015 Boston Marathon in April! She’s running for a charity called Challenge Unlimited. Challenge Unlimited in Andover provides therapeutic, educational and recreational opportunities using horses for children, teens, and adults with varying disabilities such as autism, cancer, stroke, Down syndrome, and more.
