Cori Forms:
If you are planning to volunteer or chaperone during this school year (and we hope you will), you must be CORI’d. You can do this by visiting the Superintendent’s office to fill out a CORI (Criminal Offender Records Information) form.  You will also need to bring a government-issued photo ID (a license will do). The Superintendent’s Office is located in the business office at the Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge Street. The entrance is around the back of the school. CORI approvals are good for three years, so if you filled out a CORI during the last two years, it is not necessary to submit a form again for this year. If you are unsure of when your last CORI was done, please call the school office and Mrs. Bogosh or Mrs. Shaikh will be happy to help.

From Mr. Napierkowski:
Attention 4th graders and parents re: 4th grade Instrumental Music Lessons
Back in June 3rd graders attended an assembly that demonstrated the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. Students interested in beginning lessons on one of these instruments received a notice describing the instrumental program. For more information please go to elemband.wordpress.com.  A commitment to practicing at home is essential for success.  Introductory lessons will start the week of September 8. Classroom teachers will have the lesson schedule.  Lessons with instruments will begin the week of September 22.  Any questions please email Mr. Napierkowski at napierkowski@bpsk12.org
