Child Development Preschool:
Is now accepting applications for September enrollment. Monday through Thursday morning sessions - 8:30am to 11:15am. Your child must be 3 years of age by August 31, 2014. Tuition cost is $500/year. There is Experienced Staff, Certified Early Childhood Teacher, Qualified High School Assistants provide and Ideal Child/Staff Ratio, located within the Burlington High School, easily accessible room, convenient drop off/pick up, many school resources available and a Nurse on duty. COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE PROGRAM IN BURLINGTON
Burlington Presbyterian Church and Farmer Dave’s, a sustainable farm in Dracut, MA, continue to bring locally-grown, fresh fruits and vegetables to the town of Burlington with a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. In the CSA program, consumers receive a share of freshly-harvested produce throughout the growing season. Shares are picked up on Monday afternoons from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. at Burlington Presbyterian Church, 335 Cambridge St. The Spring season starts on March 3 and runs 14 weeks. Farmer Dave’s also offers vegetable shares (June-October), fruit shares (July-October), and late fall shares (November-December). BHS HOCKEY TO PURPLE THE PALACE:
On Wednesday February 12, 2014, the BHS Red Devils and the Stoneham High School Spartans will participate in the Coaches vs Cancer game for the American Cancer Society. Both teams are dedicating this game to help the American Cancer Society saves lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. The teams will play in honor of two young men who have both been courageously battling cancer, Marty Wells of Burlington and Brandon McCarthy of Stoneham. Raffle items, purple bracelets, 50/50 will all be included in this fun evening. The games will be held at the Burlington Ice Palace on February 12th. The Boys’ game begins at 6:15pm and the Girls’ game at 8:00 p.m.
BHS SELECT SINGER FUNDRAISER:
On Friday, February 14th, 2014, 6pm to 9pm, Join us for a Valentine’s Day Movie Night at the BHS Fogelberg Performing Arts Center. Watch the movie - Monsters University on the big screen, play games and win prizes! This fundraiser will help raise money for the BHS Select Singer’s trip to Carnegie Hall in NYC.
