Adopt -A -Class 2022

Child Development Preschool:
Is now accepting applications for September enrollment.  Monday through Thursday morning sessions - 8:30am to 11:15am. Your child must be 3 years of age by August 31, 2014. Tuition cost is $500/year. There is Experienced Staff, Certified Early Childhood Teacher, Qualified High School Assistants provide and Ideal Child/Staff Ratio, located within the Burlington High School, easily accessible room, convenient drop off/pick up, many school resources available and a Nurse on duty.  For more information, please contact Sheila Kennedy at kennedy@bpsk12.org or call 781-238-4629.


The Burlington Baseball Softball Association
Is now accepting online registrations for Spring baseball and softball.  We are also looking for coaches.  Anyone interested in coaching should fill out an online application and must have a current CORI with the BBSA.  Please go to bbsaonline.com for more information and to register.  A discount is offered for early registrations.  We look forward to seeing you at Opening Day in April!



Junior Softball Clinics
This March BBSA is excited to host 4 Junior Softball Clinics geared toward 2nd grade girls, first year players, or to any girl wishing to improve their skills. This is a no cost clinic to be held at the Francis Wyman Gymnasium Saturday March 15, 22, 29 and April 5th from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Requirements:  Your child must be registered for the 2014 season through BBSA Online to be eligible and must bring a glove and a drink.

Burlington Girl Scout Troop 77235 is working on their Bronze Award. The troop is hosting a food drive to benefit the Burlington Food Pantry. From February 28th until March 13th,food donation boxes will be set up in the lobbies of  Fox Hill School, Pine Glen School, Francis Wyman School, and Memorial School. The food pantry is in need of pasta, pasta sauce, breakfast foods such as oatmeal and cereal, and any other non-perishable foods. The troop will also be at Shaw's in Burlington on March 8th from 12pm -4pm to collect food for the pantry. Please help this great cause.

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE PROGRAM IN BURLINGTON
Burlington Presbyterian Church and Farmer Dave’s, a sustainable farm in Dracut, MA, continue to bring locally-grown, fresh fruits and vegetables to the town of Burlington with a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. In the CSA program, consumers receive a share of freshly-harvested produce throughout the growing season. Shares are picked up on Monday afternoons from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. at Burlington Presbyterian Church, 335 Cambridge St.  The Spring season starts on March 3 and runs 14 weeks. Farmer Dave’s also offers vegetable shares (June-October), fruit shares (July-October), and late fall shares (November-December). The Burlington Education Foundation's annual Trivia Night Fundraiser is coming up. We always have a fun crowd and hope to see some returning faces this year! It's a great night out with friends or family. Be sure to email desantis.chelsea@gmail.com and reserve your table! This year's theme is That's Entertainment!

Cost: A tables cost $150. There can be four to ten people at each table.
