No Unique Reader or Unique Math, Please!

Here at Memorial, and at other schools in town, we are in the process of conducting our second round of online diagnostic assessments in both Reading and Math, otherwise known as DORA and DOMA. We appreciate that many of you have encouraged your child to go onto the Let's Go Learn website to work on Unique Reader and Unique Math, affiliated with DORA and DOMA. At this time, however, due to the assessments underway, we ask that you do not use the website until all testing is completed. A ConnectEd call will go out to families when the testing is finished and Unique Reader and Unique Math can be resumed (in 2-3 weeks).

Unfortunately, if your child worked on the DORA or DOMA assessments at home, they will need to retake them at school under supervised testing conditions. We are certain that the boys and girls are making good progress in the areas of reading and math, but we need to be absolutely sure that we have an accurate assessment of their independent skill level in order to plan appropriate instruction.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Please be sure to pick up your child on time, as there is no supervision for children after this time.

For the safety of your child, please make changes in arrangements for transportation home prior to the start of the school day. All changes should be in writing.
